Formerly the BEARS Winters Series, the Redwood Physiotheraphy Clinic presents the BEARS Championship 2023.

There are five race meetings from May to December. At each meeting there will be 2 rounds of racing for all BEARS classes and CAMS bikes up to pre '95. Plus the new Don Bryan Trophy race.

At the December meeting there will be a presentation for the racing series.

Our sponsor for the series is the Redwood Physiotheraphy Clinic.

  • Competitor Racing Entry

    This is for a competitor's entry.

  • Training Class Entry

    Open to any brand of road bikes suitable for training. Limited to 6 trainees. A trainer will be assigned to each rider. A training One Event (day) Licence is included.

  • MNZ One Event (day) Licence

    If you do not have a current MNZ race licence and want to compete in a racing event, we offer the MNZ One Event (day) Licence for purchase, and this is valid for the race day event. If you have entered for training only you will not need to purchase a One Event Licence as they are free for training.

  • BEARS Club Membership

    As a financial member you will have voting rights at the AGM. BEARS is a MNZ affiliated club. Membership will also validate your competition licence. Valid to the 30th June 2024.

  • Race Bike Hire & Entry

    Contact us first, before entering here to confirm your race bike hire date. The BEARS' 2023 KTM RC390 is available for hire by a motorbike rider looking to get in to motorbike racing for the first time. The hire includes your race entry, day licence, race bike and fuel. For competent riders we recommend you select for your entry the "Lightweight 0-400" and "Superstock Limited" classes.
