Race Competitor Event Details
The Redwood Physiotherapy Clinic presents the 2025 BEARS Championship series.
MNZ Permit: TBA
There are six race meetings from May to December. At each meeting there will be a practice and 2 rounds of racing for all BEARS classes and the support class 'Sport 400' (any brand of race bike 125cc-400cc - see regulations). Plus 3 sessions for 'Have a Go' riders on any brand of road bike (590cc to Open).
We prefer paid pre-entries, but you can pre-enter and pay on the day by EFTPOS. Full refund available if you can't or didn't attend.

Race Entry & Transponder Hire
This is for a competitor's entry. Your race bike must have a transponder.

Have A Go Entry (non-racing)
This is for entry to the Have a Go class. Open to all makes of road bikes 590cc and above. Check website (https://www.bearsracing.nz/have-a-go) for rider and bike requirements. Cost includes One Event Licence and club membership.

MNZ One Event Licence (Racing)
If you do not have a current MNZ race licence and want to compete in a racing event, we offer the MNZ One Event (day) Licence for purchase, and this is valid for the race day event. If you have entered for 'Have A Go' you will not need to purchase a One Event Licence as they are free for 'Have A Go'.

Hire a covered garage for the day. A garage will be reserved for you and you can select your garage when you arrive.

Race Bike Hire & Race Entry
Contact us first, before entering here to confirm your race bike hire date. The BEARS' 2023 KTM RC390 or 2022 KTM Duke 390 are available for hire by a rider looking to get in to racing for the first time. The hire includes your race entry, day licence, race bike and fuel. For competent riders we recommend you select for your entry for the "Lightweight (F4)" and "Superstock Limited" classes.
